HCPF

Dear Residents

The new Henley on Klip Community Police Forum (HCPF) committee was elected on 30 July and work has started on overseeing all procedures. In some cases, this has meant starting afresh.

Current HCPF members are requested to update their details and new members can apply to join online at https://www.henley-cpf.co.za/application.

All residents of Henley on Klip are invited to join. Membership gives residents access to the HCPF Telegram groups, including the Eyes and Ears group envisaged as a single crime and awareness platform open to all concerned citizens, and the Emergency group.

At present crime reports are placed on various social media, WhatsApp and Facebook groups and nobody has an overview of what is going on. The Eyes and Ears group is a great benefit to patrollers. Assistance can then be given.

The HCPF emergency number is 081 813 3912.

Group patrols have been held in the hot spots identified and more patrollers are out, so residents would have seen green lights in the streets. We need more patrollers, many more.

The HCPF Command Centre (HCC) is manned on Tuesdays from 09:00 to 12:00. Whenever possible, the SAPS Sector 2 commander Sergeant Nkoana will be there to certify documents etc.

Senior responders are available at the HCC on Saturdays from 09:00 to 12:00. Share your issues and concerns and get help with membership and technical setups on Telegram, Zello and Namola.

We thank Redtrac for their continued support and cooperation and hope to involve the other security service providers in the Eyes and Ears project.

According to SAPS Meyerton statistics, there is little to no crime in Henley on Klip which we all know is not true. However, very few cases are actually reported and opened, so PLEASE report your incidents. If you encounter problems inform the HCPF.

Alone we can do so little, together in Henley on Klip we can do so much.

Steve Endley
CPF Chairperson

Green Lights

First responders … why do they do it?

Why do they fly out halfway through dinner, green lights flashing, not knowing what they will encounter?
